October 6, 1954, 58 years ago

The Eudora News reported that Mrs. Herb Miner and daughters Patty and Emma Jean and Mary Long attended the circus in Lawrence the previous Thursday evening in celebration of the 12th birthday of Emma Jean.


October 2, 1991, 21 years ago

About a dozen Eudora business owners met at the Mutual Savings Bank to discuss the possibility of forming a Eudora Chamber of Commerce. A survey questionnaire was sent out to the 74 businesses in Eudora the previous month to solicit interest and regarding the formation of a Chamber of Commerce.

It was Homecoming Week at Eudora High School. Queen candidates were Brittney Graff, Christina Pyle and Paige Schultz. King candidates were Joey Chino, Erryn Kindle and David Westerhouse.
