November 14, 1990, 23 years ago

Eudora resident Mary Alice Bevins celebrated her 100th birthday at the Eudora Nursing Center. A festive party was held to commemorate this momentous birthday, relatives from all across the nation visited Eudora to celebrate with her.


November 13, 1974, 39 years ago

Gary Scott was selected to the Senior Babe Ruth Baseball’s “Athletes of the Year” program for 1974. In addition to proving himself as a great hitter, with a batting average of .414, he was also a great pitcher, maintaining an impressive earned run average of 0.11.


November 15, 1950, 63 years ago

Charles Gerstenburger retired from working at various Grocery stores in the Eudora community for the past 33 years.
