July 31, 1947, 65 years ago

The Eudora News reported that the C.P.A picnic that would be held that year was going to have a record crowd since it would be the first big picnic since the war.


July 31, 1953, 59 years ago

Gretta Reetz, a KU sophomore from Eudora at the time, was chosen to perform a role in an opera as the characters, Laetita and Miss Pinkerton switching off with Theodora Ericson from Lawrence.
