January 26, 1994, 20 years ago
Father Paul Miller of Holy Family Catholic Church will celebrate 50 years in the priesthood on February 2, 1994. Father Miller was first stationed in Eudora from 1952 until 1960. Three years ago Holy Family became his parish again.
January 26, 1949, 65 years ago
The first grade children and their teacher were really surprised last Thursday afternoon at recess time when Mrs. Colman, the room mother, brought a beautiful decorated birthday cake to Miss Nottingham on her birthday. The children sang Happy Birthday to Miss Nottingham and played games.
January 29, 1891, 123 years ago
The following shipments were made from this place for the past week. C. Pilla, one car oats, Lake Charles, Louisiana, and one car wheat, Kansas City; Eudora Milling Co., one car flour, Kansas City; I.F. Carnes, one car cattle, Kansas City.
