This Week in Eudora History, will take a look back at some of the people, places and events, that shaped the history of this fine community. We will look at “the week that was” from times past.

February 7. 2008, 5 years ago

In November, the city of Eudora had the first of many community-planning meetings called Vision meetings where citizens came together to plan for Eudora’s future. The second meeting was held at the Eudora Community Center on January 30. The meeting was attended by about 30 people and broke into four groups addressing infrastructure, economic development, quality of life, and future land use.

 

February 9, 1978, 35 years ago

A report prepared by a Topeka architectural firm was presented to Eudora School Board members at a special meeting last week. The report discussed options for remodeling or replacing the Senior High School building.

 

February 4 1926, 87 years ago

George Gerstenberger is the owner of a new Forder Ford Sedan of the latest type.
