February 10, 2000, 13 years ago

Eudora High School seniors Kristin Grosdidier and Kris Sample were crowned the 2000 Winter Sports Queen and King Friday night during half-time of the boys’ varsity game against Osawatomie.

 

February 13, 1947, 66 years ago

Boys and girls in the grade are planning their Valentine party. Carol Weidensaul and Patty Miller are on the decorative committee, Phyllis Baecker, John Landon, and Meredith Johnson on entertainment; Jimmy Harris, Keith Neis, Laurene, and Laurece Smith on refreshments.

 

February 15, 1894, 119 years ago

Last week was pre-eminently Odd Fellows week in this section of our country, the event in secret society circles being the instituting of a new lodge of Odd Fellows at Prairie Center last Wednesday, many of the brethren from the local order assisting. The new lodge had a membership of twenty-five.
