Mrs. Fred Ziesenis entertained with a chili supper Wednesday evening in honor of her son, Richard, who was home on leave and who left Sunday to return to his base near Fairbanks, Alaska.
The Eudora Cardinals chalked up their second win of the season when they defeated Linwood Bulldogs by a score of 54-20 on the winner’s court.
The Hesper Community Club will have a Christmas meeting with treats and games. Each family is to bring some cookies for refreshments. The meeting will be in the Hesper community building.
