Severe storms rolled through Eudora in the early morning hours Friday.

As of approximately 8:00AM, only a small number of  isolated power outages had been reported to the Eudora Public Works Department according to Mike Hutto, Public Works Director.

“We had some power outages at the (water) well field early this morning, but other than that we have only one or two here or there,” Hutto said.

Multiple trees limbs are down throughout the city and Hutto stated that street crews would be getting out this morning to start the cleanup process.

The Eudora Police department also reports no major issues with tree limbs blocking the roadway.  In a early morning drive through the center part of town, we observed that several smaller limbs were down but nothing to significantly hamper driving. We did notice some trees that were partially blown over by the storm, but most of those were located in yards and not blocking roadways.
