Construction work on K-10 in Douglas County will continue through November 18 according to a release from the Kansas Department of Transportation.

Barring weather delays,  the construction company will be adding rumble strips and doing shoulder work on westbound K-10 Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and during daylight hours on Saturday and Sunday. This work will require that one lane of wetbound K-10 be shut down during those work hours.

On Monday, November 7, the eastbound K-10 work will begin with traffic reduced to one lane from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM during the work week. The eastbound side will also be affected during daylight hours on Saturday and Sunday November 12 and 13.

Finally, the project will be have lane restrictions in both directions the week of November 14 through November 18 from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM as crews complete the project.
