Police are searching for an unknown number of suspects who vandalized the old Nottingham Elementary School over the weekend.

Eudora Police Sgt. Tom Willis stated that sometime between Friday evening and Monday morning, the building was entered by an unknown number of people and several former classrooms and bathrooms were either damaged or were spray painted with graffiti.

“School District officials are estimating the damage of the building at nearly $10,000,” Willis said.

Willis added that the Eudora Area Historical Society section of the building was not damaged by the culprits.

Currently, Eudora Police are working on identifying suspects in the case.

“Anyone with information should contact the Eudora Police Department,” Willis said.
