Eudora Schools were abuzz with activities over the past few days. On Wednesday, the annual homecoming parade rolled through town featuring the fall sports teams and various other kids groups.

On Friday night, the spotlight hit Eudora District stadium as the Eudora High Cardinals took on the Paola Panthers.  A hard fought battle for Frontier League supremacy was on the line and Eudora made a game winning stand in the final two minutes of the game to edge Paola 18-10. Eudora quarterback Derek Webb went 7 of 8 for 120 yards and rushed for two touchdowns in the victory.

The win takes Eudora to 4-1 on the season and in sole position of first place in the league.
