On the 11th anniversary of the 9-11 tragedies, many in Eudora made sure to mark the occasion by flying their flags today.

The Eudora Area Historical Society Museum had flags lined all along Church Street in front of the museum reminding drivers of the attacks on New York City, Washington D.C and the plane crash in Shanksville, PA.  Nearly 3,000 people died in the largest terrorist attack on U.S. soil.

September 11, while not a Federal holiday, has been officially declared Patriot Day with memorial ceremonies held across the nation.
