The EHS Marching Band in the EudoraFest 2010 Parade

Hundreds of people crowded the streets of downtown Eudora on Saturday for the annual EudoraFest celebration.  Vendors were aplenty on the streets selling merchandise and food throughout the day. Cooler temperatures and a slight breeze made for an enjoyable outing for many families.

The annual EudoraFest parade, one of the highlights of the event,  began this morning at 15th and Elm and moved it’s way through town concluding at the north end of downtown. Approximately 20 floats, vehicles and marchers, many throwing treats for the kids (and a few hungry adults), made an enjoyable experience for young and old.

Sales at many of the vendor booths were observed to be going well, particularly for the arts and crafts booths. Thanks to all who helped organize and support a great community wide event.

Eudorareporter.com has created a new Photo Gallery Section for the website. One of the first entries is just a few scenes from the activities of EudoraFest 2010. If you have photos of the event you would like to share, you can email them to editor@eudorareporter.com and you might see your shots added to the gallery.
