The Eudora Public Works Department will be closing Fir Street at 10th Street for a storm Water drainage project. The closure was originally scheduled for 8:00 AM on Tuesday (10/29) but that has been postponed to the inclement weather.
Public Works Director Mike Hutto said the project will begin on the first dry day crews get. As of Tuesday morning, the weather forecast calls for rain through Thursday morning. Hutto said the project is intended to help fix a storm water drainage issue at the intersection. Hutto added that the project is expected to take four working days once it begins.
10th Street will remain open during the project with Fir Street being blocked south of 10th.
