Rebel Roxie Rose is getting a makeover.  The business is closing their storefront shop located at 101 W. 10th and moving to an online retailer.

Co-Owner Sandy Clark informed us this week that they will be moving to a studio in Eudora and operate via a website which is still under construction.

“Our customer base is reaching outside of Eudora and people would like to be able to buy our products online, so we made the decision to go in this direction,” Clark said.

The final day for the store on 10th Street will be December 15.  Online shoppers in Eudora will be able to have products delivered to them and once the studio is set up, customers will be able to visit by appointment.

“We appeal to a select group and we can reach that audience better through social media and an online store,” Clark stated.  “We have enjoyed seeing old friends and making new ones this last year at Rebel Roxie Rose.”

Rebel Roxie Rose opened the store front in November 2011 after taking over part of the building that was previously occupied by Byrne’s Pharmacy.  The retail offers handcrafted products from a variety of local artisans.  Clark added that much of their current inventory will be on sale through the 15th to help lighten the load for the move.
