After a summer of fun in the sun, Eudora students are heading back to the classroom. For a breakdown of what to expect this week, the district website is chalk full of important details. See www.eudoraschools.org . Here are some of the highlights according to the online district calendar.

Monday, August 15th is a half day for students 1-9th grade. Dismissal is at 11:15 am. Kindergarten visitations are by appointment. High school students can safely enjoy one last day of summer break. At 3:30 7th and 8th grade Volleyball and Cross Country teams will meet for practice at the Middle School. All important paperwork for athletic participation will need to be turned in, according to the website.

Tuesday August 16th is the first full day for grades 1-12. Kindergarten visitations are still happening by appointment. Preschool screenings are taking place.

Wednesday August 17th is a half day for Kindergarten which will meet from 8:00 am to 11:15 am. Half days will continue August 17-19 and 22-26. The first full day for Kindergarten will be August 29th.

  • Everyone PLEASE watch out for the kidos, some are new and they ride bikes. They don`t always stop at intersections, you need to stop look twice and a 3rd time before you go.
