The Eudora Area Historical Society’s September Program and meeting will be on Sunday September 7th at 4:00pm at Eudora City Hall (4 East 7th Street).
The program will be delivered by former German KU student Stephan Fuchs and is titled “German Identity and Heritage of Eudora and Beyond: People, Places, and Toponyms.” The program is a presentation of his dissertation of the same name. Eudora was established by German immigrants in 1857. Eudora remained an overwhelmingly German-American community until well into the 20th century.
As always, this program is free and open to the public. This promises to be a very interesting program and we hope to see you there!
