The Eudora Parks and Recreation Department is busy gearing up for summer fun in Eudora.

Every Wednesday between now and July 3rd at noon, Parks and Rec will be hosting the Picnic in the Park at Lucy Kaegi Park, 1638 Elm, next door to the Rec Center.  This Wednesday, June 12, free entertainment will be provided by Chris Tibbetts.  According to the Parks and Rec Department press release, Tibbetts has performed in Broadway productions of Oklahoma, Beauty and the Beast  as well as taking part in the television show Nashville Star which ran on the USA television Network.  A lunch of hot dog, chips and drinks will be provided for only $2.00.

Then on Friday night, the Family Fun Nights return to Laws Field.  Activities get underway at 7:30 PM with games, food vendors, music and at 9:15 PM, the showing of the movie Stuart Little.  This will be shown on a big inflatable outdoor screen.  Families are encouraged to bring their blankets and lawn chairs to sit on.
