The Eudora School Board has decided to name the new field located behind Eudora High School. The new stadium will now be called Eudora District Stadium.

According to the Board Briefs from the past School Board meeting, the school board discussed options for naming the new stadium and looked for ways to honor D.E. Kerr and Don Laws, the two individuals for which the previous sports fields had been named.

The board decided upon a plaque, which is to be installed near the entrance of the new stadium, with information about Kerr and Laws.

A formal dedication ceremony of the new Eudora District Stadium will occur on October 8th, prior to the Homecoming Football game.
