Eudora News and

The Eudora Chamber of Commerce will once again sponsor this year’s Holiday Extravaganza this Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This year, the event will be held at Eudora High School.

This yearly event always features a multitude of activities.  Horse drawn sleigh rides will be available with the proceeds from the sleigh rides to benefit CLO’s Midnight Farm located just south of Eudora.

There will also be a decorated Christmas tree silent auction.  The trees are traditionally decorated by local Eudora businesses.  This year, at least one of the trees will feature a Wizard of Oz theme with some very collectible and highly sought after ornaments.

Musical entertainment, treats for the kids and of course, pictures with jolly old Santa Claus will also be available.  The chamber is requesting that, for pictures with Santa, you bring either 2 canned, non-perishable foot items or a suggested donation of $5 with the items and donations.

Several local businesses are also sponsors of this annual holiday tradition including LMH Eudora Therapy Services, Attorney Amy Durkin, Mateo Chiropractic, Coventry health Care, Medicalodges Eudora and McDonald’s.
