Due to the soggy conditions and likelyhood of more rain later on today, the Parks and Rec Department has postponed the Great Pumpkin hunt that was scheduled for tonight at Lucy Kaegi Park.
The Great pumpkin Hunt will now take place Friday night beginning at 6:15 PM. The location has also moved to the Eudora Elementary School to be held in conjunction with the PTO’s Fall Movie Night.
The costume contest will be held beginning at 6:15 PM follow by the hunt for prizes, candy and all sorts of goodies. As it will be dark, parents are asked to make sure their children have flashlights to help search for the candy and toy filled pumpkin eggs.
The Parks and Rec Department will also have a drawing for two scooters, one for boys and one for girls during the event. Preschoolers through 5th grade are invited to attend.
The event is being sponsored by the Parks & Rec Department and Kaw Valley Bank.
