Eudora News and

Tonight’s Eudora City Council meeting looks to be a shorter affair. Listed on the agenda for discussion:

Consideration of two downtown grant applications, one from DC Custom Cycles and one from Free State Guns & Tactical Weapons.

As a side note about DC Custom Cycles, they will be moving their retail area from their current location on Main Street to just a few doors north at 714 Main Street.  This move is scheduled to occur approximately May 15.  The repair shop will continue to be in it’s current location.

Free State Guns & Tactical Weapons is currently housed inside DC Custom Cycles and we understand that it will also be moving into the new retail location up the block as well.

In other City Council activities tonight,  they will consider approving two representatives for on-going meetings with USD 491 to discuss development on the Nottingham & Laws Field site and consider approving the outdoor sale of cereal malt beverages for Hands to Heart Toys for Disadvantaged Children benefit on May 21st, 2011 in CPA Park.

The Eudora City Council meets on the second and fourth Monday of the month in the City Council chambers at City Hall, 4 E. 7th St.
