Road Conditions Update:

Road crews are out working on the streets this morning. It will take time for them to clear the large amount of snow we have. Eudora Police are urging residents to stay off the roads if at all possible. The main thoroughfares are the concentration, while side streets will be worked on as quickly as possible.

Eudora Police Chief Grady Walker stated “Ive been digging cars out all morning.”

We  are providing a list of cancellations for  Thursday in the Eudora due to weather emergencies area as we get official word from various groups. Please check back often for any possible updates.

Weather Update (6:20AM)

The Winter Storm Warning has expired and the snow, for the most part has stopped.  The National Weather Service says there is a chance for flurries before noon, otherwise skies will clear later on today with a high of 20. Winds chills will be between -3 and -7.

For those enjoying the snow, another round may come our way this weekend as a 30% chance of snow is predicted for Saturday night through Monday morning.

Thursday Jan. 20 Cancellations (Updated 6:20AM):

– Eudora School District has canceled classes for Thursday.

– Amanda’s Dance Academy is canceling all Thursday classes.

Wednesday Cancellations:

– Holy Family Parish has canceled their Wednesday evening Religion classes.

– Amanda’s Dance Academy has canceled all dance & tumbling classes for tonight.

– All Eudora School District after school activities have been canceled.

– Eudora Municipal Court has been canceled for tonight.
