Students in Eudora are rallying community members to commit to safe driving.  Supporting Eudora High School shows that citizens and students are working hard to reverse the statistic that car crashes are the number one killer of teens in the U.S. and Canada.

Eudora High School is committed to keeping teens safe on the road, and that’s why they are participating in Celebrate My Drive, a program that’s all about celebrating the fun of getting your driver’s license while teaching all drivers positive habits to help avoid car crashes.

Residents can help Eudora High School win a $100,000 grant and possibly a concert by Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson in Eudora.  Log on to  to make a safe driving commitment once a day, every day, between Oct. 18 and Oct. 26.  The more safe driving commitments the community makes on behalf of Eudora High School, the better chance the school has to win $100,000 and host the Kelly Clarkson concert.  Two $100,000 and 90 $25,000 prizes will be awarded.  A portion of the awards will be designated to support safe driving initiatives with the remainder of the award to be used by the school for what it deems appropriate.

Celebrate My Drive is sponsored by State Farm Insurance and their associated agents.
