Eudora High School Senior Britani Shrum has signed a letter of intent to play softball for Bethel College in the fall. Shrum penned her name on the dotted line on Friday in a ceremony at Eudora High School with her parents plus her present and future coaches by her side.
“I started playing T-ball when I was 4 years old and rolled right into playing softball,” Shrum stated. “I have played at all different levels and loved it all. It has been my dream to go to college and play the game I love. Now my dream is coming true.”
Shrum is a Pitcher and 2nd Baseman for the Lady Cards. Not only a talented athlete, Shrum excelled in the classroom as well including being named to the National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America. She made the Honor Roll all fours years at Eudora High School.
Bethel Head Coach Stacy Middleton, praised the on the field achievements of her newest player.
“We are excited to add Britani to our roster,” Middleton said. “She is very fundamentally sound and will definitely raise our level of play.”
