Eudora News and

The Eudora City Council seems to have a somewhat light agenda this Monday night.  On the agenda:

– Consider setting a public hearing regarding vacating the easement on the property owned by Mark and Janet Gabriel

– Reconsider Downtown Business grant for Dennis Thome of Cardinal Motors

– Consider declaring 1021 Spruce Street a dangerous structure and setting a public hearing.

One other item of interest on the agenda which is merely a formality issue, is Gene’s Heartland Foods has applied for a Cereal Malt Beverage license.  This is expected to be passed without major discussion.  What this mean’s is the Gene’s Heartland Foods (formerly C & S Market) will then be able to sell 3.2 beer.

As always, the agenda can be changed or altered right up to meeting time.  City Council meetings are held at City Hall 4 E. 7th Street in the Council Chamber Room.  The meetings are open to the public and start at 7:00PM.
