It looks to be another long city Council meeting on Monday night. Several items are up for discussion.  Here is the agenda:

– Addition of fluoride to the city water supply
– Proposed vacation of public utility easements owned by Mark & Janet Gabriel
– Proposed 2013 Budget
– Ben Rachel hearing regarding nuisances located at 40 Stevens Road

– Presentation: School Resource Officer and DARE – Jerry Tenbrink
– Presentation: Eudora Area Historical Society update – Ben Terwilliger
– Consider adopting Ordinance 933 vacating certain easements on property owned by Mark & Janet Gabriel
– Consider adopting the 2013 proposed budget
– Consider Resolution 2012-13 adopting reserve fund policy repealing Resolution 2011-05
– Consider Ordinance 994 approving licensing for electricians and plumbers
– Consider Resolution 2012-14 regarding grant application for moderate income housing development in partnership with Tenants to Homeowners
– Consider Ordinance 997 regarding proposed adaptive resuse text amendments to the city’s zoning regulations

As always, the agenda is subject to change up to the beginning of the meeting. City Council meetings are normally held the second and fourth Monday of each much unless changed in advance.  Meetings are held in the Chamber Room at City Hall 4 E. 7th Street and begin at 7:00 PM.
