The City Council reconvenes on Monday evening to handle business of the city.  On this weeks agenda:

Public Hearing – Form of Government

This is the second public hearing on the Form of Government change on the November ballot. The change, if approved by voters will take the form of government in Eudora from Mayor-Council to Council-City Manager.  The Hearing is for those who wish to speak for or against this proposed change.

Also on the agenda are the following business items:

– Consider Ordinance 999 Mayor and City Council compensation

– Consider Ordinance 1000 amending sewer charge procedures

– Consider appointing Tim Pringle to the Eudora Planning Commission

– Consider impacts of proposed Penny Sand Pit application before the Lawrence/Douglas County Planning Commission

City Council Meetings are held the 2nd and fourth Mondays of the Month in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 4 E. 7th Street.  The meetings start promptly at 7:00 PM.
