The Eudora City Commission will again meet on Monday night to take up the city business and Monday should have some interesting things comes out of it.
On the agenda:
– Elect Mayor/Vice Mayor
– Consider Proclamation recognizing May as Bike Month
– Chamber of Commerce update
– Consider Ordinance 1016 to raise court costs
– Consider mowing bid results
– Consider Ordinance 1017 to raise fowl within city limits
We will be reporting on who the new Mayor and Vice Mayor are or if Ruth Hughs and John Fiore will gain another year in their respective roles. We will also be reporting on the “to egg or not to egg” controversy that will be discussed about being able to raise chickens in the city limits.
It also appears that if you get a ticket in the city, it might cost you a bit more in the future.
All this will be taken up in the coming days as we can get to it.
The Eudora City Commission meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month in the Commission Chambers at Eudora City Hall, 4 East 7th Street in downtown Eudora. Meetings start promptly at 7:00 PM and the public is encouraged to attend.
